In the Financial Services Industry, I’ve met plenty of realtors, wholesalers, and investors, among other professionals. One thing I noticed about all of them, is how important networking truly is in the industry. A well-networked well-spoken real estate professional can change their life. One thing I’ve also come to realize, is that we use our phones for just about everything. I began to ask myself, is there a way to make it easier for real estate professionals, that heavily rely on each other, to make better, faster, and more local connections?
This bred an idea in my mind, specifically when it comes to wholesalers, and investors. Every wholesaler that gets a property under contract, needs an investor that is also looking for a property the can be rehabbed. Connecting the gap between these two immediately made sense to me. So much time would get wasted on Facebook groups, reddit forums, YouTube comments, LinkedIn… But why not just cut right to the chase?
The name of the app isn’t the name of a real person, although it was inspired by a real person. The name Marcy’s House is warm, inviting, and embodies the personality of the bubbly woman that showed me the importance of having a true reliable network in your business life. Marcy’s House isn’t just an app though. It’s not just a network, either. It is a truly exclusive, local real estate club based in Georgia and Colorado, that just so happens to specialize in sharing the prosperity.
